Role
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) plays a crucial role in steering the financial direction of the organisation. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO oversees all aspects of financial management, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The CFO leverages strategic insights and financial expertise to optimise decision-making processes, ensuring they align with organizational goals.
 
Primary responsibilities

• Lead continual enhancement of financial operations, adapt strategies to changing conditions, optimise financial performance, and foster a high-performing finance team.
• Ensure alignment of financial initiatives with business strategies and develop financial strategies to drive both growth and profitability.
• Deliver strategic insights and recommendations based on thorough financial budgeting and analysis.
• Direct precise accounting, lead robust financial forecasting, and spearhead strategic M&A initiatives to promote growth.
• Implement stringent risk management practices to minimize financial risks, protect assets, ensure compliance with regulations.
• Drive financial innovation to improve efficiency and effectiveness and strengthen business transformation initiatives.
• Engage stakeholders, communicate financial strategies transparently and build consensus for initiatives

Profile

• Proven experience as a CFO or finance-oriented COO, B2B wholesale distribution experience.
• CA or CPA qualified.
• Hands-on experience in the development of a robust and successful financial strategy to support significant growth initiatives
• Exceptional analytical capabilities and strategic thinking aptitude.
• Skilled communicator adept at influencing and collaborating across functional areas.
