Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership
- Partner with senior leaders to develop and execute people strategies aligned to business objectives
- Provide guidance on organisational design, workforce planning and succession planning
- Lead large-scale change initiatives that drive transformation and growth
- Champion performance management frameworks that support high performance
- Facilitate talent reviews and succession planning to build future capability
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and L&D to strengthen talent pipelines
- Lead engagement initiatives and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture
- Advise on complex ER matters and ensure consistent, fair outcomes
- Support and promote DEI strategies across the business
- Use HR data and analytics to identify trends, risks and opportunities
- Present insights to influence strategic workforce decisions
- Monitor and track key metrics such as turnover, engagement, and performance outcomes
- Ensure HR practices are compliant with legislation, policies and procedures
- Work closely with HR Centres of Excellence (e.g., Talent, L&D, Reward, Operations) to deliver integrated people solutions
- Contribute to cross-functional projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Psychology or a related field (Master’s/MBA preferred)
- 7–10+ years’ HR experience, including at least 3 years in a strategic HRBP capacity
- Proven experience working with senior leaders in complex or matrixed environments
- Strong understanding of Australian employment law, HR best practices and OD principles
- Ability to influence, coach and build trust with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical skills, with experience using HRIS/data tools to support decision making
- High emotional intelligence, resilience and comfort with ambiguity
- Experience in regulated, infrastructure, or transformation-heavy sectors (desirable)
