Payroll Assurance Officer

Job description

One of our clients in Sydney CBD is looking for a temporary resource for 6 months to start asap. 

This role will primarily focus on project work outside of BAU operations, working within the salary team.
 
Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assurance work for payroll processes
  • Interpret and validate time sheet data (in/out times)
  • Perform manual calculations based on timesheet information
  • Define scope for various payroll projects
  • Work with governing confidentiality requirements
  • Work independently while collaborating with team members
 
Requirements:
  • Previous Australian payroll experience required - approx 3-4 years 
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Problem-solving capabilities
