An industry-leading property group is seeking a skilled Legal Counsel to join its dynamic in-house legal team. Working across a nationally recognised portfolio of residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality projects, this role offers a unique opportunity to influence landmark developments that shape Australian communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal support across the full life cycle of complex property developments, including acquisitions, financing, structuring, leasing, and disposals
- Advise on strategic corporate transactions such as joint ventures, partnerships, and commercial agreements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners to deliver successful, compliant outcomes
- Navigate legal risk with confidence across regulatory, compliance, and dispute-related matters
- Deliver high-quality, pragmatic legal advice that enables commercial decision-making
Profile
- 8+ years’ post-qualification experience in property development or real estate law, ideally gained in a top-tier firm or in-house
- Proven ability to translate legal complexity into clear, commercially relevant advice
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with a keen eye for quality and efficiency
- A collaborative, professional approach with the ability to build relationships across legal and business teams
