They are currently seeking a seasoned Quality Manager to lead and evolve their quality function. This is a strategic leadership role with hands-on responsibilities, ideal for someone who thrives in high-impact environments and is passionate about building systems that protect customers, products, and brand reputation.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a team of quality specialists, guiding them with clarity, empathy, and accountability.
  • Transform the quality function from a QA/QC-focused operation into a strategic, high-performance unit aligned with business risk and value.
  • Own and evolve the quality management system, ensuring it meets and exceeds compliance, manufacturing, and industry standards.
  • Act as the primary quality leader to the executive team, providing confidence through robust reporting, risk awareness, and continuous improvement.
  • Work cross-functionally with product development, engineering, and compliance to embed quality from concept to delivery.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership, while supporting QA Specialists in the technical implementation of QMS, audits, and product validation activities.
 
What We’re Looking For:
  • Extensive experience in manufacturing or quality-focused industries, with electrical industry expertise highly regarded due to its unique risk profile and regulatory landscape.
  • Strong background in manufacturing quality systems and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 9001, IEC, AS/NZS standards).
  • A proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams, with a focus on strategy, systems thinking, and operational excellence.
  • Deep understanding of what “best-in-class” quality systems look like and how to implement them in complex environments.
  • A proactive, self-led quality leader who takes full ownership, sets a high bar, and constantly drives improvement .
  • Strong customer focus, passionate about understanding customer needs and driving improvements that create real value.
  • Comfortable using data and analytics to identify patterns, uncover root causes, and support product development in expanding and improving the range.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, especially at executive and cross-functional levels.
