Description
This newly created role combines category expertise with sales performance. You’ll work closely with the National Account Manager, Finance team, and Commercial Analyst to shape range, influence pricing and promotions, and drive in-store execution. You’ll also have a close working relationship with the Trade Marketing team to deliver impactful initiatives in Food & Beverage. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Category Manager who thrives on challenge and wants to grow with a dynamic FMCG business.
Duties
• Partner on category and sales performance: range, promotions, and execution, with input into pricing
• Collaborate closely with the Trade Marketing team to deliver POS, merchandising, displays, and activations that support sales growth
• Analyse shopper behaviour, trends, and competitor activity to identify commercial opportunities
• Partner with sales, category, and commercial teams to maximise customer and business outcomes
• Identify and deliver new category growth opportunities with strong commercial business cases
Skills & experience
• 5+ years FMCG Category Management, with proven Food & Beverage experience essential
• Proven ability to drive sales growth and commercial results
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of shopper behaviour
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
• Proactive, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment
