They are seeking a motivated and collaborative Business Development Manager to partner with key practice groups – Corporate, Digital & IP, and Technology, Media & Telecommunications – to develop strategies that strengthen client relationships, win new work, and support impactful national initiatives.

Description
  • Partner with Partners and senior lawyers to develop, implement, and monitor strategic business development plans
  • Lead client relationship strategies, including client listening programs and delivering on commitments
  • Manage tenders, credentials, and industry directory submissions with the support of a BDM Coordinator
  • Support major projects and events that strengthen the firm’s profile and client engagement
  • Identify opportunities across practice groups and industries to cross-promote capabilities
  • Coach and mentor junior BDM team members to grow their skills
  • Manage budgets for designated practice areas and report progress to senior leadership
Profile
  • Proven experience in business development within legal or professional services (essential)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work with senior partners and clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with a talent for translating complex ideas into clear, compelling messages
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Collaborative, hands-on approach with a passion for continuous improvement and learning
