Government Sector – Wollongong
Full Time | 2-Month Contract

Join a reputable Government department providing essential services to the community. This short-term contract is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of Tribunal operations while gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced government environment.

Key Responsibilities
As a Registry Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the Tribunal through a mix of administrative and customer service duties, including:

  • Data entry, maintaining electronic and file records, and preparing correspondence

  • Copying, scanning, and distributing documents to Tribunal Members

  • Providing front-of-house support, including simple reception and directing clients to hearing rooms

  • Answering and transferring phone enquiries

  • Mail duties and transferring files between levels/buildings

  • General clerical support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

About You
The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in a legal or compliance-driven environment

  • Motivation and a proactive attitude with the ability to manage competing priorities

  • High energy and resilience – comfortable being on your feet for extended periods when handling files and scanning

  • Previous experience in a high-volume administrative or customer service role
