A leading FMCG organisation are currently seeking a commercially minded Senior Legal Counsel to join their high-performing central legal team. The role will involve, providing expert legal advice across consumer law, marketing, and broader commercial matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance on consumer law, advertising standards, and commercial legal issues.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts with retailers, suppliers, and service providers.
- Ensuring adherence to consumer protection laws and marketing regulations—including digital and social media.
- Assisting in design and implementation of robust legal compliance systems.
- Managing litigation and regulatory matters.
- Identifying legal risks and keeping stakeholders informed with timely updates.
- Ideally a minimum of 8+ years PQE in private practice or in-house roles, ideally with exposure to the FMCG sector.
- Previous experience in contract law, consumer law, and advertising regulation.
- A strategic thinker who balances legal risk with commercial outcomes.
- A trusted advisor who collaborates effectively across teams and delivers practical, business-focused solutions.
