They are currently seeking a Process Engineer to join their team, working across 3 sites (same location) and further enabling them to improve efficiency and product quality. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced FMCG environment where you will play a key role in optimising production processes, improving efficiency, and supporting new product innovation. We are looking for someone with a Chemical engineering degree who has experience in Food and FMCG manufacturing as an essential part of this role.

Description
- Process Optimisation & Continuous Improvement
- Analyse existing manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and waste.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase throughput, yield, and equipment reliability.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process engineering methodologies.
- Lead root cause analysis for process deviations, product quality issues, and production downtime.
- Provide day-to-day technical support to production teams across three manufacturing facilities.
- Work closely with maintenance teams to improve equipment performance and reliability.
- Support capital investment projects including equipment upgrades, process improvements, and new product capabilities.
- Assist with process design, commissioning, and validation of new equipment and technologies.
- Prepare engineering documentation including process diagrams (PFDs), SOPs, and technical reports.
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with food safety and quality standards including HACCP and GMP
- Work closely with quality teams to ensure product consistency and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support product trials, scale-up activities, and new product introduction.
- Monitor key process parameters and production performance metrics.
- Analyse production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Develop reporting tools and dashboards to track plant performance.
You will come from a fast paced FMCG/food manufacturing back ground with 5-10 years professional experience.
- Have a chemical engineering bachelors degree
- AutoCAD and design software skills are highly desirable
- Experience working across large scale projects
- Strong process analysis and problem-solving capability
