Payroll Remediation & Transformation
24 month contract - Hybrid
We’re seeking an experienced Tester to support complex payroll remediation initiatives and contribute to the design of future-state payroll solutions. This role will see you collaborate with stakeholders across Payroll, HR, IT, Finance, and external advisors to ensure accuracy, compliance, and system integrity across enterprise-level payroll environments.

We’re seeking an experienced Tester to support complex payroll remediation initiatives and contribute to the design of future-state payroll solutions. This role will see you collaborate with stakeholders across Payroll, HR, IT, Finance, and external advisors to ensure accuracy, compliance, and system integrity across enterprise-level payroll environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and execute detailed test plans, scripts, and scenarios for payroll remediation, data migration, and system enhancements.
- Validate payroll data, configuration logic, and remediation outputs to ensure compliance with legislative, taxation, superannuation, and enterprise agreement requirements.
- Partner with IT and Payroll Operations to deliver end-to-end system integration testing across SAP SuccessFactors and time & attendance systems.
- Support remediation testing by verifying back-pay calculations, identifying discrepancies, and maintaining audit-ready documentation.
- Manage defect tracking and resolution, ensuring corrective actions meet acceptance criteria.
- Contribute to process improvements, automation, and governance documentation to strengthen payroll compliance controls.
- Provide progress reporting, insights, and recommendations for testing outcomes and system enhancements.
- Demonstrated experience in payroll testing, validation, or quality assurance within complex enterprise environments.
- Solid working knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors, Employee Central Payroll and Payroll Control Centre.
- Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, superannuation, payroll tax, and award interpretation.
- Proven analytical skills and high attention to detail when validating payroll data and reconciling test outcomes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
