My client is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to be the 2IC to the Tax Partner, and fast-track their career to Director in 1-3 years!
This isn't just about managing a portfolio – it's about leading. A key part of this role involves coaching and mentoring an existing Manager to uplift their engagement and service delivery.

What You'll Do:

Lead a diverse Private Clients portfolio (HNW, multi-entity groups, family offices, start-ups with $300M to listed clients with $1bn turnover. Across manufacturing, retail, hospitality).
Drive both compliance (75%) and significant advisory work (25%+), including M&A, restructuring, estate planning and cross-border transactions.
Mentor and develop a talented team, fostering a culture of autonomy and excellence.
Drive business development and onboard new clients to your existing portfolio.

Profile
The suitable candidate must have:

10+ years of tax compliance / tax advisory / tax consulting experience in a mid-tier or boutique accounting firm
Tax experience across Private Clients or Business Services (trusts, partnerships, high net-worth individuals, start-ups, listed companies)
CA / CPA / CTA qualification
A truly commercial mindset and ability to appreciate the “bigger picture”
Impeccable written and oral communication skills
"Fire in the belly" personality with maturity to handle intimate client relationships (wills, family matters), and confidence to lead.
Demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport with team / clients
Someone ready for Senior Manager level with desire for Director pathway.

Job Offer
The highly competitive salary package on offer is $160k to $180k Base + Super + Equity (negotiable for exceptional talent with BD capability).
