Board Coordinator
6 week contract - potential to extend
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Board Coordinator to join the Corporate Services function of a leading, highly regulated Australian organisation operating within a complex and fast-paced industry.
Reporting to the Group Company Secretary and Deputy General Counsel, this role sits within the Legal, Compliance and Privacy team and plays a critical part in supporting the delivery of high-quality company secretariat services across the group.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with prior company secretarial experience or a strong corporate executive support background (e.g. C-suite Executive Assistant) who thrives on ownership, precision and accountability.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Board and Committee agendas, papers and matters arising reports
- Review Board submissions for quality and alignment with internal delegations
- Coordinate and schedule Board and Committee meetings end-to-end
- Take high-quality minutes and manage follow-up actions
- Manage board portal access and distribution of papers
- Maintain statutory registers and support regulatory filings
- Support continuous improvement of governance processes, templates and systems
- Coordinate training and development activities for Board and Committee members
- Manage correspondence relating to Company Secretariat matters
- Provide broader administrative support to the legal function as required
- Prior experience in a corporate environment (large corporate highly regarded)
- Demonstrated company secretarial experience (essential)
- Strong understanding of governance frameworks and the role of a Company Secretary
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and outstanding organisational skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and building trusted relationships
- A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through
