- Senior Projects Lawyer – Construction and Engineering
- Leading Global Organisation
- In-House – Sydney CBD
A new opportunity has arisen for a senior projects lawyer to join the infrastructure team of a global organisation in Sydney. The role will be supporting the commercial team across large complex projects including energy, water, transport and property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing leadership on legal and commercial issues relating to proposed projects.
- Assisting with structuring, preparing, negotiating, and concluding transactions for projects
- Providing support on legal issues during the execution of projects
- Advising the business on compliance and risk management
Key Requirements:
- Ideally 8+ years PQE gained from a leading private practice firm or in-house organisation
- Experience reviewing and negotiating engineering and construction contracts
- Excellent negotiation and advisory skills
- Proven ability to manage competing deadlines with excellent problem solving skills
