Our client a global organisation is seeking a highly skilled legal counsel to join their experienced legal team with expertise in construction and M&A. The role will involve providing critical legal and commercial advice to the business on complex construction projects and corporate activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating major construction and engineering contracts
- Working on EPC, D&C, alliance, PPP, JV agreements
- Supporting the projects teams and working closely with key stakeholders
- Providing advice on risk allocation, claims management and dispute avoidance
- Advising on corporate structuring, joint ventures, shareholder agreements, acquisitions, divestments, and due diligence.
- Supporting negotiations on commercial agreements including sale and purchase agreements.
- Working closely with and managing external counsel.
Key Requirements
- Ideally 6- 10 years PQE experience from a leading firm or in-house organisation
- Previous experience in construction law and large scale infrastructure projects
- Ideally proven experience across M&A and joint ventures
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills with the ability to manage complex, high-value transactions
- Excellent negotiation and relationship building skills
