Our client a global organisation is seeking a highly skilled legal counsel to join their experienced legal team with expertise in construction and M&A. The role will involve providing critical legal and commercial advice to the business on complex construction projects and corporate activities.
  
Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, reviewing  and negotiating major construction and engineering contracts
  • Working on EPC, D&C, alliance, PPP, JV agreements
  • Supporting the projects teams and working closely with key stakeholders
  • Providing advice on risk allocation, claims management and dispute avoidance
  • Advising on corporate structuring, joint ventures, shareholder agreements, acquisitions, divestments, and due diligence.
  • Supporting negotiations on commercial agreements including sale and purchase agreements.
  • Working closely with and managing external counsel.
 
Key Requirements
  • Ideally 6- 10 years PQE experience from a leading firm or in-house organisation
  • Previous experience in construction law and large scale infrastructure projects
  • Ideally proven experience across M&A and joint ventures
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills with the ability to manage complex, high-value transactions
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship building skills
