About
Our client is seeking an experienced commercial and disputes lawyer to join their legal team in Sydney. This is a broad role focused on commercial, privacy and disputes. Reporting to the General Counsel - you will play a key role in providing legal advice to the business across all areas.

Key Responsibilities; 
 

• Drafting and negotiating general commercial contracts
• Providing advice on contract law and privacy matters
• Assisting with disputes as they arise
• Keeping the business up to date on regulatory issues
• Liaising with the business and external counsel.

Key Requirements;  

• Ideally 5 + years PQE
• Previous experience in commercial and matters
• Knowledge of Privacy Act
• Superior drafting and negotiation skills
• Proven ability to provide commercially focused legal advice
• Self-motivated with ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
