Senior Legal Counsel - Corporate & Commercial

A leading organisation within the education sector is seeking an experienced corporate/commercial lawyer to join their In-House legal team. The opportunity has arisen due to growth and will be reporting into the Head of Legal. This is a key role within the legal team providing legal support to the business on all aspects of commercial work.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Drafting and negotiating general commercial contracts
• Providing advice on contract law
• Keeping the business up to date on regulatory issues
• Advising on privacy matters 
• Liaising with the business and external counsel.

 
Key Requirements:
 

• A minimum of 5 years PQE gained in-house or from a well-regarded private practice firm.
• Broad ranging corporate regulatory and/or commercial experience
• Preferably previous exposure to privacy matters 
• Proven ability to manage competing deadlines and make decisions
• Superior commercial and communication skills.
