The business is the market leader in its sector manufacturing and delivering a range of meals to the main retailers as well as selling online. Enjoying double digit growth the business requires a Quality Control Team Leader at their purpose built manufacturing site.

Description

The role holder will be responsible for mentorIng a team of QC officers to manage total Quality Control activities & provide supervision within the manufacturing plant that includes Critical Control Points (CCPs), Quality Control Points (QCPs), Regulatory Control Points (RCPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices. You will:

-Lead verification activities related to HACCP, HACCP Pre Requisite Programs, GMP, GFSI and Customer standards.

-Conduct internal audits (GMP & HACCP) working closely with chefs, head chefs, production managers & production supervisors to ensure Quality & Food Safety parameters are always maintained during manufacturing

-Verify all monitoring activities conducted by QC team such as Cook & Chill time monitoring, X Ray verification & rejections, calibration, cleaning and sanitation, foreign object control, control of non- conforming products is completed accurately

Profile

You are a proven Quality Control professional with several years experience within the food manufacturing space. You hold a depth of knowledge regarding GMP/ HACCP Internal audits along with a sound understanding of food manufacturing code. You have a passion for ensuring food products are made to the highest possible standard along with expertise in systems and procedures.

Job Offer

Circa $90k+ super (negotiable)
