Production Manager- Day Shift

Client Details

$450m revenue food manufacturing business requires a Production Shift Manager to run the day shift Monday to Friday. This is a huge opportunity to join a business enjoying huge success delivering a well known food product to the main retailers and for export globally. 

Description 

Reporting into the Head of Manufacturing you will hold responsibility on a shift basis (alongside another Shift Manager) for people and performance across 15 + manufacturing and 3 packing lines. You will forge close working relationships with Leaders across maintenance, quality and operations and ensure the efficient use of all plant, equipment and people. You will ensure your team of 80 plus staff create world class food products; being responsible for output, labour allocation and planning and safety. You will provide daily and weekly production updates to the Head of Manufacturing. 

Profile

You will be a proven Production/ Shift Manager with experience of managing a team of at least 50 staff within a fast paced and dynamic (multi lne) food or beverage manufacturing environment. You will be able to evidence delivering to challenging and varied production schedules. Ideally you will be Degree qualified but this isn’t a prerequisite; the client wants a detail focused and hands on leader who can motivate and lead from the front in creating world class products for the major retailers.

Job Offer

Circa $125,000 + super + bonus + sign on fee
