•Report directly to an inspirational CEO, manage 7 Branch Managers across the East Coast

Client Details

The business has revenues of almost $80m and employs 90 staff. Specialising in their specific field of providing earthmoving equipment and similar products for hire across the East Coast and having enjoyed exponential growth in recent years the business is looking for its next National Operations Manager to lead branch performance across the Australian locations.

Description 

Based from the HQ in Western Sydney (with regular travel) your role will be to manage branch productivity and performance across 7 locations ensuring achievement of Revenue, EBITDA and ROC targets; whilst delivering a safe and engaging work environment alongside industry leading customer experience. Reporting to the CEO directly you will take responsibility for:
  • Ensuring that safety always comes first through relentlessly building a culture where we all take responsibility for safety. You will adopt a proactive approach to safety through consulting with the work force, promoting safe work practices, identifying, and assessing workplace hazards and implementing appropriate control measures.
  • Developing leaders who have a learning mindset that are relentless in providing the direction, development and environment that allows our people to flourish
  • Delivering exceptional customer experience that is reflected in achievement of our NPS targets
  • Developing and executing action plans to achieve budgeted Revenue, EBITDA and ROC for the branches in alignment with Company objectives and strategies
  • Driving projects aimed at improving profitability and efficiency of the branches ensuring the operational teams have the knowledge, capabilities, and resources to achieve our objectives.
  • Monitoring and analysing key performance indicators and executing improvement plans

Profile


Your demonstrated career experience of leading a national network of branches from a people and performance perspective is complemented by a Tertiary qualification (and ideally an MBA) in a relevant field. You have been exposed to operational best practice, be able to evidence building a safety first culture across multiple locations and have delivered outstanding customer experience from a delivery perspective. Ideally you will have experience within hire equipment to be the perfect candidate!
