The purpose of this position is to work as part of the Human Resources team to lead a comprehensive learning and development delivery function. The role is responsible for leading and managing learning & development in the design and delivery of quality learning and development solutions that meet individual and organisational needs. This role owns, develops and leads a dynamic plan focused on ensuring that employees are a highly capable workforce with the skills to meet the organisations strategic directions.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the establishment of an organisational learning strategy.
  • Partner with the business and research, develop and implement appropriate leadership development programs
  • Support the organisation’s talent management and succession planning processes.
  • Provide coaching to leaders and managers to enhance leadership effectiveness.
  • Manage the annual training budget 
  • Oversee the management and administration of the organisation’s Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Work with organisation leaders and managers to identify learning needs and trends within the organisation.
  • Evaluate and where necessary improve existing learning programs.
 
Preferred experience
  • Practiced L&D Professional with Instructional Design experience
  • Demonstrated ability designing, developing and delivering contemporary learning solutions that utilise best practice methodology and technology to deliver value to individuals and the business via virtual live learning, workshop, self-paced, leader led, and online learning
  • Experience working with LMS, process improvement and systems efficiency
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
  • A minimum of Certificate IV in Training & Assessment is highly desirable
