Role Purpose
We are seeking an International Coordinator to join a growing global forwarding team. This role supports the coordination of end-to-end international air freight shipments, leveraging an established regional footprint and a global agent network to meet time-critical customer requirements.
Operating in a fast-paced environment, the International Coordinator manages multiple shipments and customer enquiries simultaneously. The role requires strong judgement, effective multitasking, rapid problem-solving, and the ability to work independently once onboarded.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate multiple international air freight shipments across all stages of transit
- Proactively monitor shipments and update milestones accurately and in real time
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries, interpreting requirements and determining next steps independently
- Prioritise urgent and time-critical activities such as flight cut-offs, failures, and next available departures
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, partners, and internal teams via written channels
- Prepare and manage import and export documentation, including pre-alerts, commercial invoices, airway bills, and customs-related paperwork
- Liaise with operations teams, customs brokers, and carriers to ensure smooth transit and clearance
- Manage bookings and shipment processes in line with relevant border and regulatory requirements
- Identify potential risks or delays early and escalate appropriately
- Operate effectively where processes are not always clearly defined
- Act as a point of escalation for international delivery issues, ensuring timely resolution
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of international workflows and documentation processes
- Experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, time-critical operations, or regulated logistics environments (e.g. life sciences or healthcare logistics)
- Working knowledge of international regulatory and customs requirements
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and rapidly adjust priorities
- Clear, concise, and confident written communication skills
- High level of digital confidence across multiple systems and platforms
- Process-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently
- Confidence making decisions and navigating ambiguity
