This financial services business has an exciting, newly created, opportunity for a Talent leader to set up and lead the People & Culture function, with a focus on the full talent lifecycle.
 
Description
This is a critical, newly created, leadership role within a growing business. Reporting directly to the Managing Partner, this Head of People & Culture role is a stand-alone position responsible for talent attraction, development & retention. Bringing to life the company visions, values, and culture.. 
 
To be successful in this role, the individual will need to have financial services sector experience and have led a talent, people & culture function. You will have had experience with a boutique firm, high performing team; hands on approach, been responsible for a people strategy in a business scaling through growth.  Someone who knows what good looks like regarding setting up a talent strategy from scratch, balanced with commerciality and fit for purpose processes and plans.
 
Profile
  • Leading company vision, values & culture to all employees
  • Customer focused, strategic and innovative
  • Ensuring the people plans support the financial performance of the business including revenue and profit growth plans
  • Building an end-to end people plan for attraction, retention and development
  • Ensure the organisation's performance complies with set policies and statutory regulations
  • Reviewing the quality, addressing required actions and continuously improving people processes
  • Comply with statutory regulatory requirements
  • Proactively lead and build the People & Culture, talent function and act as a business partner to all members of the leadership team
  • Maintain contact with relevant Industry Associations
  • Act as spokesperson for the Managing Partners with vision, people and culture
 
 
To be successful in this role you will have
  • Extensive and broad People & Culture, Talent, experience across financial services organisations
  • Previous experience working with a fast growing, privately held business
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to engage and influence all stakeholders
  • Understanding and motivation to work in private equity
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated broad business acumen
