12-Month Contract
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Regulatory Lead, Industry & Products to join a large, complex organisation operating in a highly regulated environment.
Reporting to the VP Regulatory Affairs, this role is responsible for shaping and delivering economic regulatory strategy across fixed and mobile networks, wholesale access, infrastructure investment and spectrum pricing. You will play a key role in influencing policy outcomes that balance commercial sustainability, investment and consumer value.

Reporting to the VP Regulatory Affairs, this role is responsible for shaping and delivering economic regulatory strategy across fixed and mobile networks, wholesale access, infrastructure investment and spectrum pricing. You will play a key role in influencing policy outcomes that balance commercial sustainability, investment and consumer value.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute economic regulatory strategies across products and infrastructure.
- Prepare and manage submissions to regulatory bodies including the ACCC, ACMA and Department of Communications.
- Analyse regulatory determinations, market reviews and competition policy to assess business impact.
- Partner with legal, compliance, network and commercial teams to align regulatory and business objectives.
- Represent the organisation in industry consultations and regulatory engagements.
- Develop and maintain economic and pricing models to support access arrangements and pricing proposals.
- Advise senior leaders on regulatory risks, opportunities and reform initiatives.
- 8–10+ years’ experience in economic regulation, ideally within telecommunications, infrastructure or utilities.
- Strong understanding of Australian telecommunications regulation and competition policy.
- Advanced analytical and economic modelling skills.
- Proven experience engaging with Australian regulators (e.g. ACCC, ACMA).
- Excellent written communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in economics, law, public policy or a related discipline (postgraduate preferred).
