Scheduling Officer
12 Month Contract


We are seeking a highly organised Scheduling Officer to support workforce coordination and roster management within a large and complex operational environment. This role is responsible for ensuring staff rosters, leave records, and workforce data are maintained accurately to support daily operational requirements.

Working as part of a scheduling team, you will play a key role in coordinating staffing resources, maintaining roster systems, and ensuring workforce information is accurate and up to date. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a structured environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update staff rosters to ensure effective workforce allocation and operational coverage.
  • Manage and record leave requests, days off, and scheduling preferences in line with operational needs.
  • Reconcile leave records with system reports and follow up on discrepancies to ensure audit compliance.
  • Liaise with scheduling colleagues to coordinate roster changes and replacement workforce requirements.
  • Reconcile pay processing data and investigate anomalies to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare standard workforce utilisation and financial reports for management.
  • Manage correspondence relating to roster policies and ensure records are maintained in accordance with organisational procedures.
  • Respond to scheduling enquiries and provide administrative support to ensure daily workforce coordination runs smoothly.

About You
  • Previous experience in rostering, scheduling, workforce coordination, or workforce administration.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage and reconcile workforce data.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working within established policies, procedures, and structured operational environments.
