Our client is a large logistic company in the western suburbs. They have been expanding rapidly and their great environment makes it an attractive place to start as commercial accountant with lots of potential growth ahead.

Description 

In this position, you will be responsible for general management and accounting duties while working closely with the team.
 
Keys responsibilities includes:

• Month-end close and enter transactions for group entities
• Review reconciliations of the balance sheet accounts
• Intercompany transactions, prepare cross-charges, reconciliation, and analysis
• Fixed asset schedules, prepare depreciation adjustments
• AR function including collection, credit, rebate, and reporting
• Support AP function as required
• Assist in the preparation & reporting of consolidated results and financial statements
• Assist with the coordination of year-end deliverables with external auditors

Profile

This role would suit a first-time mover ready to step in as Financial Accountant with the following experience:

• Qualified or studying towards CA/CPA
• At least 3-4 years’ post qualified experience
• Coming from financial services
• Excellent problem-solving skills

Job Offer

• Package $85,000 - $90,000 (including super) based on experience
