About the Firm
A Top 50 firm situated in the centre of Canberra has a unique and lucrative position available. Work with clients come from various industries such as renewables, medical, finance and NFPs whose turnovers range from $45 – 180m. Clients have complex structures, so you can trust that the work is engaging and stimulating. In your executive position, you will handle $1.75 million in fees, and this will increase to $3.5 million by the time you reach partnership. You will be focused largely on business advisory, such as management accounting and tax consulting, however revision of your team’s compliance work is expected. This is an opportunity to become deeply involved in your profession and provide value-add services to help clients reach the financial goals.

About You
You will lead and mentor a team of 6 accountants while answering directly to Partners. The right candidate will be driven and confident in their advisory capabilities, as well as have excellent interpersonal skills when engaging with clients. In addition, you must have: 

  • Full CA/CPA qualification 

  • Over 6 years business services experience 

  • Excellent people skills and confidence for meeting clients 

  • Experience managing a team of staff including senior accountants 

  • Superb verbal and written communication skills 

  • Australian permanent residency and be onshore
