Our client is a well established, Australian owned manufacturer within the heavy vehicle and capital equipment sector. With over 20 years of industry experience, they design and manufacture premium water trucks, tankers and spray systems for customers across civil construction, mining, government and hire sectors.

Description 
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Territory Manager to take ownership of capital equipment and aftermarket sales across Queensland and Northern New South Wales.
This is a highly autonomous, field based role combining business development, key account management and tender activity. You will work closely with internal engineering and operations teams to deliver tailored solutions to councils, contractors, mining operators and hire companies.

Key responsibilities include:
• Managing and growing a large multi-state sales territory
• Driving capital equipment and parts sales
• Developing and maintaining key customer relationships
• Identifying and converting new business opportunities
• Conducting site visits, presentations and demonstrations
• Preparing quotes, tenders and proposals
• Maintaining CRM records and managing pipeline activity
• Representing the business at industry events and trade expos
• Conducting product handovers and customer training

Profile

To be successful, you will be a commercially focused, relationship-driven sales professional with experience selling technical or capital equipment into industrial or infrastructure markets.

You will ideally bring:
• 3+ years’ experience in capital equipment, heavy vehicle or technical sales
• Strong business development and account management capability
• Proven negotiation and quoting experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to operate autonomously across a large territory
• Willingness to travel regionally

Highly regarded:
• Experience with government or infrastructure clients
• Tender-based sales experience
• Existing networks across civil, mining or hire sectors
