Job description
Our client a leading Mining organisation is looking for a Business Analyst who will be the Link between their information technology capacity and their business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analytical, building, testing and deployment tasks for IT projects and programs of work.

- Draw user, business and system requirements using various techniques such as requirements workshops, interviews, surveys, process descriptions, system documentation, use cases, business analysis, document analysis, task and workflow analysis.
- Develop and maintain relationships with project team members, internal and external stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with project team members, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Ensure specifications are clear, robust and support business, data and integration needs.
- Support quality assurance and change management activities.
- Actively participate in the preferred project methodology and work collaboratively with technical teams.
- Experience in business/systems analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems based on analysis and investigation.
- Proven experience in drawing and documenting requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of SQL databases, Software Development Life Cycle, Project Methodologies, User Acceptance Testing and/or Change Management practices.
- Qualifications in Business Information Systems or similar and/or Business Analysis certification such as Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)/Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP).
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
