This is a newly created opportunity for an experienced Bid and Tender Administrator to build out the function and introduce policies and procedures around tracking the success of tender submissions.
Description
The key responsibilities of the Bid and Tender Administrator are as follows:
- Responsible for managing Group’s responses to tenders, requests for quote and vendor qualification requirements etc.
- Coordinate the implementation of a system for managing responses to tenders.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to obtain and implement advice and strategies to maximise bid success rates.
- Coordinate responses to tender questionnaires and vendor qualification documents based on information supplied from various teams such as sales, HR, HSEQ, marketing and legal.
- Consolidate, organise and maintain key ESG data across the business.
- General support to legal team from time-to-time.
Profile
To be successful in this application, you will have had extensive experience in a similar role and have a genuine appetite for growth and development.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or relevant work experience.
- Previous experience in Contracts or Tender Administration/Coordination within a large organization (desirable).
Legal qualifications and/or experience are desirable but not essential.
