  • Are you a banking & finance lawyer (1-5 PQE) whose career progression is being stalled by dull bank panel work, or you have no support from an underperforming partner?
  • Are you seeking a role where you’re dealing directly with the client and encouraged to build your network?
  • If you’re ready to join a firm where your growth is a priority, we’re seeking a talented and driven Associate to join the Banking & Finance team, working directly with two of Australia’s most respected finance lawyers.
 
About the Role
 
You’ll work alongside seasoned finance partners highly experienced in advising Australian and international lenders, private credit providers, alternative lenders and borrowers across:
  • Corporate finance
  • Acquisition finance
  • Real estate and construction finance
  • Project Finance
 
Recent matters include:
  • $270M+ syndicated construction and land acquisition facilities across NSW, VIC, and QLD
  • Corporate acquisition finance across multiple asset classes with deal values from $50m-250m
  • Strategic advisory for property developers with funding from PAG, Metrics, MA Financial, and others
 
What we’re looking for
  • Qualified lawyer, with 1–5 years post-admission experience in banking & finance from a well regarded law firm (UK & Irish lawyers welcome to apply, sponsorship available)
  • Solid academics
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills
  • Commercial acumen and a proactive mindset
