This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join a supportive finance team in a full-time role, with a strong focus on payroll and transactional finance, alongside exposure to broader accounting support activities.

Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with end-to-end payroll processing (essential)
- Supporting payroll compliance, awards and related reporting
- Assisting with employee payroll queries
- Supporting payroll, bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with month-end close and reporting
- Supporting AP/AR and general ledger tasks
- Maintaining accurate payroll and finance records
- Assisting with process improvements and system enhancements
You will be a motivated and detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
- CA or CPA qualified, or studying towards
- Payroll experience essential
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
- Experience in an Assistant Accountant, Finance Officer or Payroll-focused role
- Exposure to reconciliations and month-end support
- Comfortable assisting with transactional finance (AP/AR)
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
