Accounts Assistant

Located in Norwest - Hybrid


 

A great opportunity for an experienced and highly organised Accounts Assistant with background from the private / commercial sector to become an integral part of a reputable government department and join their friendly and collaborative team. 

Flexible work arrangements with 3 days in their our office in Norwest and 2 days from working from home. 

Xero & MYOB experience is essential however the successful candidate will also:

  • Have a minimum 2-3 years bookkeeping experience
  • Demonstrate advanced Xero & MYOB knowledge
  • Have a positive attitude and great customer service skills
  • Be proficient in all aspects of Payroll including EOFY reconciliations
  • Have excellent English verbal and written communication skills
 

Requirements:

  • Payroll (Super, PAYG, IAS ,Payroll Tax )
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable
  • Bank Rec of all AP and AR
  • Follow up of outstanding invoices (email and calls)
  • BAS statement prep and lodgement
  • Monthly Balance Sheet rec
  • EOM and ad hoc Management Accounts
  • preparing and liaising with our tax accounting
  • Continuing to build and refine our bookkeeping processes
  • Monthly forecasting
