Client Details
The client is a small FMCG business enjoying huge success since its inception over 10 years ago. The business is currently splitting out supply chain and commercial and as such is recruiting a brand new role for a Supply Chain Manager.
Description
Reporting into the Director of Sales you will lead and manage the supply chain for the business. You will:
-Direct and guide the global supply chain (including managing inventory and external logistics providers based in China and America)
-Establish quality management and supplier performance metrics for delivery
-Lead and direct all global sourcing of products
-Identity systems and business improvement initiatives, embedding ERP use and developing appropriate KPIS and metrics
This is a hands on role within a small to medium business so you will have to roll your sleeves up and “get your hands dirty”, in return this role is a huge opportunity with real scope to shape and define a global supply chain in a rewarding and successful business growing rapidly.
Profile
You are a Degree qualified Supply Chain Manager with demonstrated experience managing 3PLs, negotiating and managing Chinese and local suppliers and freight provider. You have experience delivering product to the major retailers in Australia. You have worked in a small start up business previously and have implemented processes and systems, Mandarin would be an added bonus!
