This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, people-focused leader to take ownership of the Melbourne branch and shape its next stage of growth.
 
As State Manager, you’ll lead a small but capable team of field service technicians and support staff, while driving profitability, customer engagement, and operational excellence. You’ll have full responsibility for branch performance from P&L management to safety and service delivery and the autonomy to grow the team and customer base in line with national strategy.
 
The role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the team and customers, with the commercial acumen to drive growth and the leadership presence to inspire others.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage branch operations, ensuring excellence in service delivery, safety, and compliance
 - Drive branch profitability through proactive cost control, performance management, and business development
 - Build and engage a high-performing service team through mentoring, structure, and clear communication
 - Strengthen customer relationships and ensure a consistent, customer-first experience
 - Oversee field service operations, ensuring standards, documentation, and compliance are met
 - Identify and execute opportunities to grow revenue, efficiency, and market presence
 - Report on operational performance, budgets, and key initiatives to senior management
 
About You
- Proven leadership experience in a branch, operations, or service management role within an industrial or technical environment
 - Strong commercial acumen with full P&L and budget responsibility
 - Must have experience leading and developing field service teams
 - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
 - Entrepreneurial mindset, able to identify opportunities, take initiative, and drive outcomes
 - Hands-on, approachable leader who values culture, engagement, and accountability
