Job description
• Exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Product Manager with a background in medical or science to join an innovative and growing business based in Macquarie Park
• Initial 12 month contract with potential to extend

Opportunity:
Our client is a global company, and this position sits within a regional team focused on strategic marketing and campaign development, collaborating closely with global initiatives and country-specific teams across Australia, New Zealand, Korea, India, and Southeast Asia.
This role will report to the Senior Marketing Manager and will work closely with 3 Product Managers and a Marketing Associate. You will also collaborate with the Professional Education and Market Development teams (each with around 5 members), contributing to an overall regional marketing group of approximately 20 people.
This role is a 12-month contract, with strong potential for extension.

Scientific Communications: Synthesizing complex clinical data from international conferences into actionable marketing messages for field teams. This includes:
The successful candidate:
Strong scientific foundation and a knack for marketing. This role is highly specialised and requires someone who can truly bridge the gap between complex clinical data and impactful commercial messaging.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Scientific Background: A robust understanding of scientific principles, ideally with experience in medical devices or pharmaceuticals. This includes familiarity with clinical trial methodologies (e.g., randomized controlled trials, registries) and basic statistics.
Data Synthesis & Communication: Proven ability to understand, summarize, and translate scientific data into clear, concise, and compelling marketing messages for diverse audiences (e.g., medical professionals, sales teams).
Communication Skills: Exceptional written communication for internal and external audiences (emails, team chats, articles, newsletters). Strong verbal communication for training calls and presentations.
Independent & Adaptable: A self-starter who can thrive in a remote, regional team structure across different time zones.
Marketing Acumen: While a strong scientific base is paramount, an understanding of marketing principles and how to apply them to scientific content is crucial.
Behavioural Attributes:
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within an immediate team and across broader regional and global teams.
Understanding of working across time zones: Experience working effectively with diverse cultures across the APAC region.
Flexible: Comfortable with a dynamic work environment that may require calls outside of traditional 9-5 hours (e.g., early mornings for US, evenings for India).
Travel Ready: Willingness to travel periodically for conferences and team meetings (e.g., Brisbane, New Zealand, India, Singapore).

- Delivering timely and accurate training on clinical data to the APAC field team after scientific congresses
- Creating concise summaries and articles from scientific publications, translating complex information into clear marketing messages
- Supporting the development and execution of regional marketing campaigns, providing scientific data insights
- Collaborating effectively with cross-cultural and geographically dispersed teams
