Senior Legal Counsel – Construction

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior back-end construction lawyer to join a leading engineering organisation. The role has arisen due to an increase in projects and will be reporting into the head of legal and projects.

This role will form part of an experienced legal team and involve supporting the business in construction dispute resolution. You will also be responsible for managing risk for projects in delivery, advising the business on contractual and commercial risks relating to tender projects and building strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and external agencies.

To be successful in this role they are ideally looking for candidates with a minimum of 8 years PAE gained from a renowned law firm or in-house organisation. You will have experience in construction litigation and ideally across large projects. Proven negotiation and project management skills alongside excellent relationship building skills is also key.
