Legal Counsel – Corporate & Commercial
In-House – Sydney

Join a respected organisation within the Education sector as in-house counsel. As part of the legal team you will assist in contributing to the organisation by providing high-quality legal advice across a wide range of corporate and commercial matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing a variety of legal documents
Delivering sound legal advice across complex corporate and commercial law issues.
Identifying legal risks and offering practical, solution-oriented recommendations
Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policy, and governance frameworks.
Effectively managing stakeholder relationships across the organisation
Managing and engaging external legal counsel

Key Requirements:

Ideally a minimum of 5 years PQE gained In a reputable private practice firm or In-House organisation
Strong knowledge of corporate and commercial law
The ability to work autonomously and strategically in a high-performing in-house team
Exceptional communication skills and a strong work ethic.
