Client Details

Our client a leading commercial business operating across the Infrastructure, energy, resources, transport, defence and building and construction sectors is seeking a legal counsel to join it’s growing legal team.


Description 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing, reviewing and negotiating a diverse range of contracts.
  • Providing strategic commercial and legal advice on major infrastructure projects across a number of sectors including transport, renewables and resources
  • Reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts
  • Drafting precedent suites of commercial agreements relevant to the infrastructure market
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders

Profile:

  • Ideally a minimum of 8 years PQE gained in a reputable law firm or In-House organisation 
  • Experience of project development within the engineering/construction sector
  • In-depth understanding of construction law and contracts
  • Experience with commercial policies and identifying key risks within contracts
  • General commercial experience.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously with a strong attention to detail
