Client Details
Our client a leading commercial business operating across the Infrastructure, energy, resources, transport, defence and building and construction sectors is seeking a legal counsel to join it’s growing legal team.
Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing, reviewing and negotiating a diverse range of contracts.
- Providing strategic commercial and legal advice on major infrastructure projects across a number of sectors including transport, renewables and resources
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts
- Drafting precedent suites of commercial agreements relevant to the infrastructure market
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
Profile:
- Ideally a minimum of 8 years PQE gained in a reputable law firm or In-House organisation
- Experience of project development within the engineering/construction sector
- In-depth understanding of construction law and contracts
- Experience with commercial policies and identifying key risks within contracts
- General commercial experience.
- Proven ability to work autonomously with a strong attention to detail
