They are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join their collaborative finance team and play a pivotal role in maintaining financial governance, statutory compliance, and continuous improvement.
The Role Reporting to the Financial Controller, this position will:

They are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join their collaborative finance team and play a pivotal role in maintaining financial governance, statutory compliance, and continuous improvement.
The Role Reporting to the Financial Controller, this position will:
- Lead statutory and financial reporting for multiple entities across Australia and New Zealand.
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage external audits and liaise with auditors and external advisors.
- Support tax compliance activities including BAS, FBT, and income tax returns.
- Strengthen internal controls, governance, and risk management frameworks.
- Drive process and system improvements, leveraging BI tools (Power BI, QlikView, TM1).
- Partner with the broader finance and operational teams to deliver meaningful insights and support strategic decisions.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior finance staff.
- CA/CPA qualified, with 5+ years of relevant experience in financial and statutory reporting.
- Strong technical accounting and compliance skills within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Confident communicator who can collaborate across functions.
- Highly proficient in Excel and ERP systems; experience with BI tools advantageous.
- Hands-on, proactive, and adaptable with a strong eye for process improvement.
- Attractive Salary: $110 K – $130 K + Super
- Hybrid Flexibility: 2 days per week from home
