Senior Financial Accountant

• $60 - $75 per hour including Super

FutureYou are partnering with an innovative pharmaceuticals business considered a market leader in their sector. They are undergoing significant transformation and are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join their high performing team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Ownership of month end, statutory reporting and preparing for periodic audits
• Prepare budgets and monitor ongoing forecasts (3+9, 5+7, 9+3)
• Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register including impairment testing and asset model revaluation
• Process intercompany FX transactions
• Prepare for implementation of new software
• Prepare monthly management reporting pack – including analysis and commentary
• Identify areas of cost reduction and opportunities for business growth
• Supervise an Assistant Accountant

About you:

You are a hardworking, friendly accountant who is comfortable on the phone and able to solve problems in a calm manner. Additionally, you will be:

• CA/CPA qualified
• 3-4 years of post-qualified experience as a Financial Accountant (or similar)
• Advanced Excel (power query, formula auditing)
• Possess a can-do attitude
• Communicate clearly and build relationships
