- Hybrid Role – Sydney or Melbourne CBD
Your Role
A leading ASX listed organisation is seeking commercial lawyer with marketing/consumer law experience to join their In-House legal team in Sydney or Melbourne. This will be a broad role and involve working closely with the business across; marketing/consumer law, privacy/spam, digital, technology and commercial contracting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting and negotiating general commercial contracts
- Providing support on a broad range of exciting marketing, digital and growth related initiatives
- Managing, negotiating & advising the business on a range of commercial IT agreements
- Advising on privacy law matters
- Liaising closely with the business and external counsel
Key Requirements:
- Ideally a minimum of 3 years PQE gained in-house or from a respected private practice firm.
- Broad ranging experience in the areas of marketing/consumer law, privacy and digital
- Prior exposure to commercial IT agreements is also highly regarded
- Resilient with a calm demeanour & a solutions-focused approach.
- Strong interpersonally with an ability to build effective relationships with both internal & external stakeholders
