Key Requirements
Essential:
- Valid driver's license.
- Proof of valid working rights in Australia.
- Knowledge of NDIS guidelines and policies.
- Proven experience in a similar role, specifically in matching appropriate care for individuals with disabilities.
- 1-3 years of experience as a Rostering Coordinator.
- Proficiency in MS Suite and online rostering systems (e.g., Gravity).
- Strong attention to detail and scheduling skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Empathy and patience in working with diverse client needs and backgrounds.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with adaptability to changing client needs.
- Experience in generating service delivery and staff performance reports.
- Commitment to delivering client-centered care.
Desirable:
- Skills in conflict resolution and crisis management.
- Experience working with individuals with complex mental health conditions is highly regarded.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage based on client needs and staff availability.
- Schedule support workers for rostered services.
- Communicate rosters to staff for efficient and reliable service delivery.
- Adjust schedules as needed, ensuring efficient allocation of time and resources.
- Manage schedules meticulously to avoid errors and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Address and resolve scheduling conflicts and issues.
- Prioritise meeting the unique needs and preferences of clients.
- Collaborate closely with team members.
- Assist support workers with queries related to consumers and service provision.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.
