Job Title: PreSales Consultant

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Sydney, NSW 

The Presales team provides subject matter expertise and support to the sales team, prospects, existing clients, and other key stakeholders to help drive the go-to-market strategy and sales activities throughout the sales cycle

The role of the PreSales Consultant is to be acting as the advisor to our client’s business, operational and technical teams as well as our internal teams. You will be the product and technology champion and provide domain thought leadership and lead best practice discussions in the context of business solutions and capabilities. You will have responsibility for driving successful business outcomes and joint discussions to support the continuous adoption of business solutions by our customers


• Confidently demonstrate business products and solution concepts to audiences where these audiences may contain a wide range of stakeholders e.g., Technical, Business, Operations

• Partner with sales team to become the trusted advisor to prospective clients and existing clients by providing consultation to drive their business strategies and meet their goals, and provide all the required support to the sales team

• Clearly articulate to potential and existing clients how business solutions can effectively work in tandem to deliver maximum efficiencies and profits while minimizing costs by deliver compelling presentations and demos

• Facilitate client workshops to gathering and validate requirements and guide the customer on the high-level solution design. This will involve working alongside our project, technical and professional services teams

• Provide input to RFPs & RFIs and manage POCs to meet customer requirements. Collaborate with professional services teams to support and guidance during the delivery phases

• Collaborate with product teams in designing product propositions by market segments or verticals, capture customer feedback and provide input to the product roadmap

• Lead at the forefront of new capabilities or technologies while effectively disseminating that knowledge into both the customer as well as internal teams

• Other duties as guided by your manager

Skills & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor qualified in a relevant area of studies such as IT or Business degrees
• Experience in a similar presales or technical account management role that involved a high level of client engagement working on customer demos, RFPs, RFIs and POCs
• Experience having led interactive customer discussions whilst developing complex solutions around the customer’s requirements
• Prior experience in and delivering presentations and high impact workshops
• Demonstrated comprehensive technical and functional knowledge of identity verification and facial biometrics
• Experience in Financial Crime and Location Intelligence solutions would be a definite advantage
• Ideally will have banking/financial institution/KYC process experience.
• Technical knowledge to be able to discuss API integration (SOAP & REST), JavaScript integration, run solution design and requirements gathering workshops, configure demo’s and understand product development principles
• Willing to adapt to changing priorities, and accommodate urgent tasks
• Solid communication skills with a proactive attitude
• Creative approach to problem solving whilst working with a team and/or customer
• Analytical competency advantageous and the path to growth more in the role
• Demonstrate an understanding of modern multi-tier application architectures.
• General knowledge of Microsoft Technologies and solutions
• Knowledge and understanding of SQL, Web Services, JavaScript, and API's
• Sales and commercial mindset with an active can-do attitude to winning new business

Remuneration package includes base salary + bonus OTE + rewards & incentives based on individual performance
