Description 

Seeking experienced Technical Business Analysts to join our IT Business Systems team. You will work closely with our Finance, Inventory, HR and IT stakeholders to help support and continue to grow our corporate platforms. On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for the creation / analysis of business requirements to prepare specifications for development or configuration. Liaising with the development team, both external to ensure that all solutions are designed in accordance with the business requirements. This role requires the BA to have great facilitation skills, which enables him/her to run various workshops and agile ceremonies with ease. Reporting to the Business Systems Manager you will play a key role with the backlog refinement and prioritization process in the BAU space and being an advocate of driving an agile mindset withing the team.  The role will involve BAU and project work as required.

  • Work closely with Business Systems Manager and assist in driving agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement and backlog prioritization across different products
  • Create Analysis of business requirements to develop technical specificationsin the form of user stories with adequate acceptance criteria and other supporting artefacts
  • Working closely with the development and QA teams to ensure smooth deployment of features/bug fixes into production
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders and team to find and present the right solution options and designs to solve key problems
  • Analysing business and system processes to continuously improve process reliability and system stability 
  • Mapping requirements to technology product functionality
  • Develop test cases & execute testing 
  • Problem solving and application support
  • Provide knowledge sharing, documentation & training for support teams & user groups
  • Review of solutions provided by support teams and / or vendorsand recommend changes as required
  • Identify and communicate technical risks and dependencies
Profile

Role one: Experience with Business Central, AP Automation tools (exflow), Service and retail systems and Microsoft SQL
Role Two: Experience with LS Retail, Business Central, Data Director and Microsoft SQL. Strong knowledge of retail business and integration methods

  • A preference for working in fast paced environments with fluid requirements
  • Experience in managing and working within an agile environment
