• Maintenance Planner role, complex building products facility
• Report to the Engineering Manager at the Wetherill Park National HQ
• Blend of reactive and preventative work

The client is a national leader in its category of building products. Their HQ in Wetherill Park is the hub for its national operations. Generating revenues of over $1 billion globally and employing 10,000 staff the business is part of an even bigger corporation and therefore the potential with them is huge!
Description
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager on a site of 250 staff the Maintenance Planner will be responsible for the preparation and control of work packages for maintenance activities across the site.
The focus of the role will be to effectively co-ordinate daily maintenance team activities as per the site’s Asset Management Strategy to maximize plant availability and minimise costs. You will cover:
Maintenance Operations; You will both deal with reactive maintenance scheduling and preventative shut downs and maintenance work. Define and complete weekly maintenance schedules utilising internal staff and contractors ensuring the availability of spares and parts using the site CMMS.
Production; Ensure maximum equipment uptime via preventative planning and swift break down scheduling and resolution
Safety & Environment; Ensure all operators are working with safety in mind, providing training and safety on policy and best class when required. Conduct site audits and ensure contractors are trained correctly on arrival.
Profile
You are a proven Maintenance/ Reliability Planner with at least a Diploma (ideally a Degree) in a relevant field. You will have worked within building products, plastics, materials or a similar high volume, equipment led environment. You will be able to evidence abilities regards reactive maintenance and preventative maintenance methodologies and have a good grasp of CMMS.
