An exciting opportunity has arisen for a legal counsel to join a leading global property group. . Reporting into the Head of Legal this is a key role within the legal team providing legal support to the business across a variety of property related transactions including Commercial leasing and property development matters,  Joint ventures, finance and project work, Property acquisitions, sales and divestments and compulsory acquisitions.



Description 

Key Responsibilities
 

• Providing legal advice on development agreements, joint ventures and project
• Review and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts
• Key legal point of contact for a specific portfolio of assets;
• Analyse and identify legal risks and implications for the business
• Manage and build relationships with external law firms and stakeholders

 


Profile

• Ideally a minimum of 3+ years’ experience PQE gained gained in-house or within a mid or top-tier law firm
• Previous experience in leasing and/or property and contract law
• Proven negotiation and project management skills
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to provide outcomes focused advise to the business
• Motivated and proactive with day to day tasks.
