An exciting opportunity has arisen for a legal counsel to join a leading global property group. . Reporting into the Head of Legal this is a key role within the legal team providing legal support to the business across a variety of property related transactions including Commercial leasing and property development matters, Joint ventures, finance and project work, Property acquisitions, sales and divestments and compulsory acquisitions.
Description
Key Responsibilities
- Providing legal advice on development agreements, joint ventures and project
- Review and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts
- Key legal point of contact for a specific portfolio of assets;
- Analyse and identify legal risks and implications for the business
- Manage and build relationships with external law firms and stakeholders
Profile
- Ideally a minimum of 3+ years’ experience PQE gained gained in-house or within a mid or top-tier law firm
- Previous experience in leasing and/or property and contract law
- Proven negotiation and project management skills
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to provide outcomes focused advise to the business
- Motivated and proactive with day to day tasks.
