Position Title: IT Support Specialist

Position Type: 12 months Fixed Term Contract (with possible extension)

Location: Sydney CBD Hybrid Working (2 days on-site and 3 days WFH)

Job Description:

The IT Support Specialist oversees and maintains the computer hardware and software systems including user and technical documents. The role aims to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of client’s business operations, thereby enabling the organisation to achieve its strategic objective as an innovative, social health business.
The IT Support Specialist will be required to resolving technical issues concerning company systems, applications, and cloud infrastructure. Issues and roadblocks must be identified and escalated to management for effective and timely resolution.
Knowledge of a call centre environment, including client-centric operations as well as a strong networking and systems understanding, is desirable. A desire and interest to learn and continually evolve the organisation’s IT infrastructure are key requirements for this position, as are excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
The role is accountable for working with the IT Project Manager and the Business Analysts to manage expectations of project sponsors and resourcing, risks/issues, task completion, change management and reporting of progress against time, measures across technical projects at our client.
The IT Support Specialist will act as the main support person for the IT Project Manager who is responsible for working with business functional areas to deliver technical solutions in an Agile environment.

Education Requirements:

Tertiary Degree or studying towards (of minimum three-year duration) in relevant or experience deemed equivalent.

Experience Requirements:

Alteast 3-5 years experience working in a similar role.
Hardware and network troubleshooting experience.
Experience in MS Intune is a must
Experience in Office 365 and/or Microsoft 365 suites.
Demonstrable experience in Microsoft office 365 Admin centre, Exchange, and Azure AD.
Demonstrable experience in configuring, monitoring, and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics, SharePoint, Power BI and associated technologies.
Demonstrable experience of working with others to identify business requirements.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Excellent understanding of the software development lifecycle management.
Demonstrable use of Continuous Improvement principles.
Experience working in an agile environment.
Ability to work as part of an effective and highly skilled team.
Willingness to learn new technologies and maintain business knowledge.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work and communicate with people from a broad range of backgrounds and varying levels of technical ability.

Azure Certifications or experience.
ITIL Foundation Certification.
Genesys contact centre certifications.
Programming Languages such as Python and C#.
