Workforce Support Officer (HR)
Government sector – Sydney
FULL TIME – 3 Month Contract Position
Client Description:
An exciting opportunity exists to join a respected NSW Government agency as a Workforce Support Officer, providing crucial HR support across workforce projects and initiatives. This role is ideal for a motivated administrator or HR coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to contribute to meaningful change within the public sector.
Key accountabilities:
  • Provide day-to-day support services to People Partner teams, assisting with workforce management, employee correspondence, and structural changes.
  • Respond to routine HR enquiries, ensuring the accurate provision of information and escalating issues when necessary to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Maintain and manage HR records and systems, ensuring compliance and data integrity.
  • Collate and analyse workforce data to assist in project planning, reporting, and forecasting activities.
  • Coordinate meetings and events, prepare agendas and minutes, and support consultation activities across departments.
  • Deliver reporting and insights to assist People Partners in managing the impacts of transformational change.
Key challenges:
  • Managing a high volume of work across competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
  • Building strong internal relationships and placing people and customers at the heart of everything you do.
  • Balancing stakeholder expectations in an environment of organisational change.
