Description 

The Inventory Controller is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of inventory control, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and optimisation of inventory processes.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records using computerised systems, SAP.
  • Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counting and bulk stocktake.
  • Coordinate with supply chain, purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure timely and accurate receipt and delivery of inventory.
  • Analyse inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimise losses and maximise efficiency.
  • Identify obsolete or slow-moving inventory and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast inventory needs and ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
  • Prepare regular reports on inventory status, including stock levels, turnover, and shrinkage.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to inventory management.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or related role.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of inventory control best practices and principles.


Profile

To be successful in this application, you must have at least two years experience in a Inventory Controller position and with manufacturing experience. 

You will have the confidence, tenacity, and SAP proficiency to hit the ground running in this critical role.
